Big Brother is Always Watching: Keeping Discussions Accountable

Teachers will participate in a variety of class discussions to demonstrate how teachers can use multiple tech platforms and apps (both free and paid) which will allow teachers to gather data and evidence of student participation, hold students accountable, and show student knowledge of content. These tools can be applied to any skill level that teachers feel is appropriate for group discussion. Some tools are best used in-class while others can be used both in and out of the classroom.

Make Your Assessments the G.O.A.T.! Using Digital Assessments to Keep Students Interested in Assessment

This session is about looking at formative/summative assessments that are digital and feed into the way a student learns today. First, we will look at how a student's brain works and what makes a good assessment. We will also look at many new and upcoming assessments that teachers will be able to use in their classrooms the next day. Finally, we will participate in a formative assessment that is my favorite to use. My goal is to help other teachers get familiar with using digital assessments.
