Next Generation Personal Finance (NGPF) provides excellent resources for not only personal finance teachers but anyone who teaches life or career skills in their classes. There are tons of fantastic, highly engaging resources including: Can You Make it as an Uber Driver?, FinCap Friday, and the Payback Student Loan Challenge. The best part - it's completely FREE! This session will cover teacher created and peer reviewed lesson plans, computer simulations, professional development, additional content resources, and more. Any CTE or financial literacy teacher will find these resources beneficial for financial and job skills education.

Authentic Learning through PBL

This session will explore the process of creating authentic Project-Based Learning (PBL) activities for students. We will discuss the PBL design process, tips for PBL implementation, and ways to provide an authentic audience for students. Participants will also begin to plan a PBL activity specific to their content area. This session is for all content areas and skill levels. Participants will need to bring a laptop and have access to content standards.
