Varsity eSports: Get in the Game!

Curious about Varsity eSports? Hands down, this session will cover all the bases! Kim Johnson and Dr. Chris Haskell will tag-team this virtual presentation with Chris sharing from his wheelhouse, and doing so live from his home base - the eSports Arena in the Education Building where BSU eSports is hosted by the Department of Educational Technology at Boise State University. Varsity eSports are officially sanctioned competitive video game teams made up of college students that compete against teams from over 50 schools across the nation. How does this work? What does it look like? How does playing video games tie into education? What about eSports in K12? Step up to the plate to find out!
